Bring the Halloween Spirit to your grooming space! There’s even a prize for the winner!
Decorating may begin upon grooming space opening on Monday, 10/21/24. The contest will be judged late day Thursday with a prize to be awarded Friday. No need to be present for judging or awards. No entry form or fee is required. If you have Halloween décor on display, it is considered an entry.
Out of respect for other people and their dogs, we ask that you observe the following guidelines:
- All decorations must be contained within your allowed grooming space or on top of your crates.
- Soft sounds or music is allowed but no loud noises.
- No decorations with fast or scary movements that may scare dogs or children.
- No decorations over 6 feet tall.
- No smoke/fog/mist.
- No strobe lights.
- Décor that requires electricity cannot be plugged in 24/7. Please power down after hours.
- The purpose of this contest is to show our fun, festive Halloween flare. Safety and consideration of spectators and dogs are foremost.
- We will have children and members of the public in attendance. Only G-rated, unoffensive décor allowed. Please keep décor light-hearted and not excessively ghoulish.
- Entries judged based on creativity, effort, and adherence to these guidelines. No certain theme is required.
