Rally obedience is a growing sport among Sammies and their handlers. Unlike traditional obedience, the handler is encouraged to talk to the dog during training and competition. The dog executes a series of commands, and the emphasis in scoring is on teamwork, flow and speed. Because of its variety and mental stimulation, the Samoyed often excels at Rally.
At the American Bank Center, obedience and rally will be held in the Exhibit Halls just a few steps away from the conformation ring.
